H.A.K.A.: High As a Kite (Academically)

How it went

👊Whoo! Ay ay ye!👊 This July, the warm summer breeze will be blowing to EESTEC LC Ljubljana! Catch the wind and join us on our Advanced Skills Workshop H.A.K.A, where you will have so much fun, you will be as High As a Kite (Academically) 😎. We will be soaring in the exciting world of embedded systems, the meeting point of hardware and software. From smart home devices and wearables to autonomous vehicles and industrial automation, embedded systems are at the core of modern technology. Throughout the workshop, you will discover how operating systems coordinate these systems behind the scenes, enabling devices to sense, react, and communicate in real-time. You will gain insight into real-time operating systems (RTOS) and develop hands-on experience by implementing Zephyr OS on a Nordic development board to communicate with various sensors via Bluetooth. You will also get a glimpse of Red Pitaya’s versatility when it comes to the development of embedded system applications. ! IMPORTANT ! Since this is an advanced skills workshop, basic knowledge of the C programming language is needed to follow along with the lectures. Of course, we won’t be spending the whole week sitting behind laptops - LC Ljubljana is ready to show you all that our capital has to offer and take you on an adventure from the heights of the castle to the depths of your shot glass. City rally will challenge you to discover the hidden gems of Ljubljana, international night will sate your appetite and thirst, and borovničke will boost your EESTEC spirit so you can party with us all night long! 🪩
